LPWG Sightings: Scarce to uncommon in flower gardens, rarely at feeders
Special Features: Small size, almost bee-like
Field Marks: In the small sized bird, the male has a red throat
while the female throat is whitish with black spots. The central tail
of the bird has green retrices surrounded by cinnamon and black.
