Guest Room Rates (Monarch Villa, Deluxe Guest Room and Standard Guest Room sold separately) are based on double occupancy and do not include Breakfast or Sales Tax. Each additional adult is $40, each child is $20. Lodging includes unlimited access to La Paz Waterfall Gardens ($35 per person value).
Reservation Policies
- Check in time is 3:00 pm. Check out time is 12:00 noon.
- We recommend a three-night stay for guests looking to make the most of their Peace Lodge experience. Please keep in mind, as beautiful as we think our property is we limit our guests’ stay to four nights, in order for you to explore other areas of Costa Rica. This is the ‘house policy’ and under no circumstances will the policy change.
- Children are from 3 up to 12 years old. Infants under 3 years are not charged.
- We reserve the right to request a minimum number of nights stay for peak seasons such as Christmas and Easter.
- Please note that by submitting your credit card information you agree to our reservation and cancellation policies. Your credit card will not be charged in advance. It acts only as a guarantee of your reservation and will be charged only in the event of a cancellation or no- show. All charges will be applied upon check out.
- Reservations for three or more rooms per night must be PAID IN FULL 60 days prior to the reservation date. This payment is NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE.
Cancellation Policies
- There is NO REFUND if cancellation is made 14 days or less prior to the reservation date. When cancellation notification is received between 15 and 30 days prior to the reservation, a $50 processing fee per room will be charged. Payment will be forfeited if guest(s) arrive after the specific date of reservation or depart prior to final day of reservation.
- All cancellations need to be sent via e-mail to: peacelodgereservations@waterfallgardens.com or fax (C.R.) 011-506-2482-1094 or (U.S.) 954-727-3999. A cancellation is NOT CONFIRMED until you have received an email or fax cancellation code from our reservation’s office.

This 650 square foot room has a king size canopy bed viewing a grand gas fireplace. The interior design of the room is only surpassed by the view from the balcony of the La Paz River Valley and the Poás Volcano. The best way to enjoy the view is from the Jacuzzi tub or swaying in the hammock on the balcony. The bathroom has an oversized mosaic tiled tub and elaborate waterfall shower. There is also satellite TV, stereo system, refrigerator, coffee maker and room safe.

For those who desire the feel of the Rain Forest even when they are inside, this is the room for you. This 800 square foot room has an unbelievable garden bathroom designed for the true nature lover. A seven-foot waterfall comes to life as you soak in the Jacuzzi tub in the garden. There is also a garden shower and enclosed shower. All of this is surrounded by beautiful indoor landscaping and illuminated by a skylight. The room also has a Jacuzzi tub and hammock on the balcony for those picture perfect star gazing nights. A grand gas fireplace to view from the king size canopy bed makes the room complete. There is also satellite TV, stereo system, refrigerator, coffee maker and room safe.

This 1,200 square foot villa leaves
nothing to be desired. First there are not one, not two, but three
fireplaces to set the mood for this wonderland in the Cloud Forest.
The master bedroom alone invokes thoughts of romance with its king
size canopy bed set before a gas fireplace. The oversized master
bathroom, complete with full Jacuzzi tub, fireplace (yes, fireplace)
and waterfall shower will make you wonder why you aren't staying
longer. The villa is complete with a luxurious living room with
a two-story fireplace and a second floor loft with a queen size
bed, a single bed and full bathroom. If that isn't enough there
is a kitchenette and dining area with refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave and room safe.
But, the villa would not be complete without
a view of the La Paz River Valley and the Poás Volcano and
how best to enjoy them but from the Jacuzzi tub on the balcony.
But don't worry, when you've had enough 'nature' for the day, the
villa is well equipped with a stereo system with speakers in every
room and satellite TV in both the living area and master bedroom.
The Peace Lodge is truly a Costa Rica luxury resort with 70 acres of rain forest, hiking trails, animal exhibits, four restaurants and two bars. Many of our guests have called us the best hideaway resort in Costa Rica because of the room amenities such as stone fireplaces, enormous garden bathrooms and over sized balconies where they can spend hours with the view of the rain forest and Poás Volcano. The intent of the design of the accommodations and the exterior landscape was to give the feel of a small rain forest river lodge but still have the amenities that come along with a full service luxury lodge.
